Starting January 1, 2023, Promise Community Homes has a new Board President, Marcus Adrian. Marcus is an Architect with St. Louis based Mackey Mitchell Architects, where he has spent 25 years designing schools, classrooms, and a dizzying range of learning spaces, spanning from birth to higher education, and across all levels of ability. His career has been dedicated to pursuing a better understanding of human physical, sensory, social, and cognitive ability, then using it to advance the design of learning spaces that elevate human potential for all.
Marcus has had the pleasure of working on a long series of projects over the past 20 years at the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Architecture. He was drawn to Promise Community Homes by Eugene Mackey III and Van Brokaw, both mentors in unique and lasting ways. Participating on PCH’s Board provides more than just an opportunity to give back – he finds the strategic work on behalf of our community intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding. Marcus lives in St. Louis Hills with his wife Angela, their three children, and a yorkie-poodle named Zoe.
